DESCRIPTION

Research ops is a new function for many research teams. To get the sign-off for the role, you may have to outline very specific and concrete deliverables that you expect from research ops. However, to obtain an outsize impact from this role, you must tear that list up and allow the research ops lead to start from scratch to uncover the status quo.

Saskia Liebenberg, research ops lead at Monzo bank, will help you understand why and how to work with research ops. And how to ensure your research team, or anyone doing research, benefits from the force multiplying impact of this role.

OUTCOMES

  • Discover the value and relevance of research operations

  • Learn what to expect from research ops

  • Get the sign-off for this new function in your research or design team

  • Find ways to convince your organisation about the amplifying effect of this role

FORMAT

The talk will happen live via Zoom.

Meet the speaker

SDC_people_saskia_liebenberg

Saskia Liebenberg (UK) is research operations lead at Monzo. She loves helping teams work more effectively and achieve their best.

She has enjoyed doing this as a project manager guiding diverse, cross-functional teams to successful delivery, and more recently as an operational lead in design and research, setting up processes and systems to remove friction and optimise capacity in growing teams. She cut her teeth in publishing with four years at Deliveroo which proved to be an intense crash course in all things tech.
